The Tooth Fairy Project started with a simple observation: kids in our own community were missing school because of untreated dental pain — something entirely preventable. What began as a volunteering idea for a class project turned into an ongoing effort to close that gap.
Dental care is often left out of conversations about children's health, even though tooth pain is one of the most common reasons kids miss school. We started this project to make basic oral health support — kits, education, and referrals — accessible to families who face cost or access barriers.
Mission: To provide free dental hygiene resources, education, and support to underserved children and families. Vision: A community where a healthy smile is never out of reach, regardless of income or insurance.

We're working toward official nonprofit status, partnerships with local dental offices, and a scholarship fund for students pursuing dental careers. Long term, we want chapters at other high schools running their own Smile Kit drives.
